If you want old school hospitality and down right good food THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! As a airplane enthusiast I have heard about this place and also as a valley native I have passed by this place tons of times and finally decided to go. Then we met Melanie! Not only was she super on top of everything and paid attention to every detail! I haven't had that kind of service in YEARS where I didn't have to ask for anything and she was just such a sweetheart. If you have the pleasure of coming here please look for her. And thanks to her as I change diets she turned me on to the greatest sugar free syrup I have ever tasted so thank you Melanie and I'm so sorry it took me so long to let the world know you are top notch as a employee at Lulu's!!! PS: The Sugar free Cheesecake was so amazing I had to get 2 pieces Lol
Huge Nachos and appetizers 1/2 price from 4-7:30 pm Great crew and April the bartender is on top of her game! Management is hands-on with clientele and staff. They host car-shows in the parking lot and Many other social clubs. This place is a "down to earth" make you feel at home establishment. The locals are warm and inviting! I've passed the place for over 2 years. Finally stopped in and was treated like FAMILY. it is my Favorite place Away from Home 135 miles away.

This place is on point!! This place is way unassuming. In fact I have been driving by here for years and never ever thought of stopping by. On this day I was at Sky Zone around the corner and we decided to just pop over here for a bite since it was close and the reviews were good. Well not only is this place unassuming but it is a a true diamond in the rough! Everything was perfection. Top diner in this area or in Los Angeles period! Parking is easy. The service is top notch. Everyone is so nice. It is a tad drab in the inside but again do not judge a book by its cover, its clean and that's what matters. The food here is amazing. Have been coming back here weekly. Here are some of the dishes we have tried: Buffalo wings - perfectly cooked, crispy and tender Chicken Tenders - real fresh chicken breast House burger - quintessential tasty diner burger Alfredo pasta - wow so surprisingly delicious! They know how to do pasta here! Cajun Chicken Strips - very nicely seasoned Two egg breakfast with pancakes - pancakes were fluffy and buttery Fresh fruit - was indeed fresh and not some canned crap French Onion Soup - could revile any 5 star French restaurant Fried Zucchini - just the right amount of crunch and had such great flavor Chili Cheese Fries - OMG, OK these were the best ever! So today's lesson was don't knock it until you try it!
Lulu's is an old school diner with a aviation feel. It has many aviation photos, model planes and aviation themed items around the restaurant. It's located close to the Van Nuys airport. We went for breakfast and were craving a traditional American diner breakfast. Lulu's nailed it. They have a extensive breakfast menu with many egg and pancake options. I had the meat scramble with biscuits and gravy. It was fabulous. The hash browns were cooked perfectly. The biscuits were very good and while the gravy was a bit thin, it has great flavor. My wife had the bacon and avocado omelette which she really enjoyed. It was huge and she took half of it home. It was still great the next day! The service was prompt and professional. The server was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
